Hawkwood Community Park is owned, operated, and maintained by the HCA. It is NOT a city park. The HCP is free for all to use, but HCA members can book certain elements. An HCA membership is only $30 per household per year.
After reviewing the booking rules below, you can book a park element at:

Our boarded multi-purpose outdoor rink is available for use year-round. In the winter, ice time is scheduled to allow both hockey and recreational skating. During the rest of the year, the rink can be used for basketball (two courts with nets) and other activities.
The HCA is not accepting bookings for private events at this time. Currently, only HCA-sponsored events or programs are held at the HCP, where HCA volunteer organizers must be on site to oversee them. Future changes to the private bookings or rentals process, if any, will be posted here.
Park Status Notices
The large rink is OPEN for skating! Check back for updates on the leisure ice and crokicurl surface.
We've moved the porta-potty to the southeast corner of the field, to ensure cleaning and emptying access during the winter.
