Kids, bring your favourite tall person and come explore the natural world at our Hawkwood Community Park this Fall!

HCA is offering our very first nature playgroup, meant to encourage kids' love of the outdoors in all seasons while offering parents and caregivers a way to connect! Aimed at ages 2-6, but all are welcome. Dress for the weather: we will meet rain, snow or sun, as long as the temperature is above -15C.

What to expect:

A low-structure, low demand program - perfect for kids who want to learn and explore in their own way. The Nature Host (program coordinator) will offer an invitation to play that kids can participate in at their leisure, along with a nature story time. Otherwise, they are free to explore the park with parents, caregivers, and new friends!
