Operation Playground Is a cooperative initiative between volunteer groups from Hawkwood School and St. Maria Goretti School. Their goal is to replace the playground facilities at both Elementary Schools in Hawkwood. The Hawkwood Community Association has pledged a maximum of $400,000 toward these revitalized play areas that are part of the core of our community and will be enjoyed by thousands of Hawkwood community children and visitors in the years to come.
Operation playground is excited to announce that our fundraising is done. We have all the money in place to build our playgrounds this August. Thank you to all who have helped us reach our fundraising goal. Check out the playground designs here!
